Seeking application innovation driven by new technology, Yu has invested in companies including Producer AI (formerly Riffusion), LanceDB, Janitor AI, OpusClip, Final Round AI, Pic+, Party Animals, Vue, Mark Camera, Plum, SHOPLAZZA, MetaApp, HotMaxx, Kuaiyin and Yidui. 

Yu holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Math and Statistics from San Francisco State University.
